About this edition

What It Is For

A private record for a worry about something that has not happened yet. Name it, say when you will know, and guess two things separately: how likely it is and how bad it would really be. The guess locks when you save it, and when the moment comes you record what actually happened. A secondary Both sides mode helps with a decision you keep re-arguing: write the story, write the plain record, and underline what appears in only one version. The two records stay separate. The tool works offline, has no account and makes no network requests.

Intended for: Anyone who finds a worry keeps circling back to the same worst case, or a decision keeps getting re-argued instead of settled, and who would rather see what their own record says than keep going round.

What Exists Behind This Page

This preview is tied to the built edition and its recorded release state. It is not a promise that the product is already available or that using it guarantees the outcome.

  • It never sends anything anywhere: there is no account, no sign-up and no network request, so every worry and decision you type stays in your browser, and there is no service behind it that could change how your data is handled later
  • A saved guess cannot be edited, so the record never drifts to match what happened
  • It asks how likely and, separately, how bad, because those are two different questions and a single worry slider cannot tell them apart
  • The two doors are counted separately and never added together, because a decision written both ways has no guess in it to be close to
  • Nothing in it reads what you have written to work anything out about you, and the line about where to get help is the same words for everyone who sees it
  • It is a working version of two named practices, with both practices' own words quoted, and it does not need the book to use it
  • 1 prepared edition
  • 3 inspectable customer-page previews
  • 11 named sources with stated use and transfer limits

Claims boundary: This is a personal record of your own guesses and your own two versions. It is not an assessment, it is not therapy and it is not a substitute for it, it is not medical advice, and it does not replace professional support. It does not say that keeping the record will make a worry smaller or a decision easier. It never reads what you have written to decide anything about you.

The method

Three Decisions It Helps You Make

  1. 01

What observable evidence would justify confidence in this specific situation?

  2. 02

What decision is actually being made, by whom and by when?

  3. 03

Does this need a working aid, human feedback or qualified support?

It is not an assessment, it is not therapy and it is not a substitute for it, it is not medical advice, and it does not replace professional support. It does not say that keeping the record will make a worry smaller or a decision easier. It never reads what you have written to decide anything about you.
